Network meeting 2022 – Hochschule Anhalt Campus Bernburg

After our network had been meeting online for over a year and had been growing steadily, we finally had the opportunity to meet in person for the first time in June 2022. At the invitation of Henny Grewe and Sandra Dullau, we spent two days at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Bernburg discussing the network’s name, our goals, and the necessary structures. We toured the flowering meadows on the green campus Strenzfeld and discussed site preparation, the regional seed mixtures used, and the challenges involved in maintaining them. The university has even been able to establish wild flower meadows in the adjacent residential area in collaboration with the real estate company operating there.

The entire meeting was marked by enthusiasm, energy, and the joy in connecting with each another. Thanks to everyone who attended!
