Network meeting 2024 – CampusGoesBiodiverse Bremen

In 2024, the University of Bremen’s “Campus Goes Biodiverse” initiative, led by Prof. Marko Rohlfs, hosted us for our third in-person meeting. The initiative puts a lot importance on monitoring its flowering areas and showed us various methods that are used. Particularly innovative was the planting in a former abandoned concrete raised bed, which featured a soil gradient and thus created a great diversity in a very small space.

The evening performance of Kafka’s *The Metamorphosis* on a campus lawn was a real highlight. And we even got to lend a hand—building an insect hotel out of wooden pallets.
